A plain explanation of what we collect when you join our waitlist, and what we do — and don't do — with it.

SattvaRoma ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how it's handled. We've kept it short on purpose — this site currently does one thing (let you join our waitlist), so that's what this policy covers.

What We Collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect:

• Your email address — required, so we can let you know when we launch.
• An optional note — if you choose to add one.
• Fragrance preferences — if you select any of the scent checkboxes, so we know which fragrances people are most interested in.
• How you found us — if you arrive via a tagged link (for example, from our Instagram bio), we note which platform or campaign referred you. This is held briefly in your browser for the visit and submitted along with your waitlist signup, so we can tell which channels are actually reaching people. It isn't used to track you across other sites, and it disappears when you close the tab if you don't sign up.
• General site usage — like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they view, and roughly where visitors are located. This applies to anyone browsing the site, not just people who join the waitlist, and it works by placing a small cookie in your browser.

Beyond what's listed above, we don't collect additional personal information. Google Analytics is currently the only cookie-based tracking on this site — we don't use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind.

How We Use It

We use the information we collect for a few specific things:

• To notify you when SattvaRoma launches.
• To understand which fragrances people are drawn to, so we can plan our rollout.
• To read and respond to any note or feedback you share with us.
• To understand overall site traffic and which pages or channels are working, using Google Analytics as described above.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. You'll only receive emails you explicitly signed up for.

How It's Handled

We may use trusted service providers to help operate this site, such as Formspree, which processes waitlist submissions on our behalf. They only receive the information needed to perform their service, and their own privacy policy governs how your information is transmitted and stored on their systems. We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us.

We also use Google Analytics to understand overall site traffic and behavior. Google may set cookies on your device and processes this data under its own Privacy Policy. If you'd rather not be included, the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on will stop it from running on your visits.

We don't use automated decision-making or profiling.

If you're outside the United States, please note your information may be processed here.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your information only as long as necessary to notify you about our launch or respond to your message. You can ask us to delete it at any time — see below.

Your Choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing us at contact.sattvaroma@gmail.com. We'll take care of it promptly.

Children's Privacy

This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes — for example, as our site and offerings grow — we'll update this page and revise the date at the top.
